From one Generation to Another…

...time-honored principles applied for a lifetime.

The Sheedy family arrived in Washington Territory in 1889—the same year Washington became a State. Robert’s great-great-grandfather, Robert Herman Sheedy, was a railroading man who supervised the construction of some of the earliest bridges across the Columbia River. Building railroads might have brought them west, but the beautiful country, vibrant communities and great way of life convinced the family to stay.

From the foundation

Growing up in the rural Pacific Northwest, Robert knows something about hard work. Family Pic in Park.jpg Stretching fences on the family ranch, surveying land, and building barns and houses, he recognizes the effort it takes to tackle a tough job, and the dedication required to see a project through to completion.

A lifetime of lessons

Never afraid of a challenge, Robert signed on for two tours in the US Navy. As a jet mechanic and squadron flight deck coordinator on the U.S.S. Constellation, he learned quickly that a person always has to stay alert and must never become complacent in his work. It’s a lesson he applies to everything he does. After a successful career in commercial development and finance, he decided it was time for a change—and real estate was a natural choice. As a fourth-generation Realtor®, Robert felt like he had come home.

In 1995, Robert, with his son and daughter, moved to Kennewick. After years of driving through the area on his way to visit family, Robert appreciates living in this wonderful oasis.
